This notice describes how TradeSpark uses SMS text messaging, what consents we rely on, how you can stop messages, and how we comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier rules. By opting in to SMS from TradeSpark, you agree to these terms.
1. What SMS we send
Where you have provided a mobile number and opted in, TradeSpark may send text messages for:
- Transactional messages: one-time passcodes, login verification, appointment reminders, project and bid updates, Pro match notifications, billing notices, and security alerts.
- Informational messages: service updates and operational notices.
- Marketing messages (only with express written consent): product announcements and promotions.
Message frequency varies. You may receive anywhere from occasional messages to multiple messages per day depending on your activity.
2. How to opt in
You opt in by providing your mobile number and selecting a specific SMS consent option during signup, in your account settings, or in response to a specific prompt. For marketing SMS, consent is collected separately from transactional SMS and is never a condition of purchase.
3. How to opt out and get help
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that program.
- Reply HELP for assistance; you will receive a message with contact information.
- You can also email hello@tradespark.ai with subject "SMS opt out".
After you opt out, you may still receive transactional messages necessary to provide the Service unless you also close your account. We typically confirm opt-out with one final message.
4. Costs
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan and carrier. TradeSpark does not charge you to send or receive SMS, but your carrier may. Check with your carrier for details.
5. Carriers and delivery
We work with major US wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. TradeSpark is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages caused by the carrier.
6. Privacy
We handle phone numbers and SMS content in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile numbers with third parties for their marketing.
7. Eligibility
You represent that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you provide, and that you will update or remove it if that changes. Do not submit a mobile number that is not yours.
8. Changes
We may update these SMS terms. If we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide advance notice. Continued participation in any SMS program after the effective date is your acceptance.
